The STEFANI CERAMIC CARTRIDGE has been tested by a leading Australian university, and the report concluded that the filtering process will remove up to 99.9% of bacteria and amoeba, and 99% of suspended solids.

The STEFANI CERAMIC CARTRIDGE is simple to maintain. The process involves removing the cartridge from the purifier, and scrubbing the cartridge surface with a stiff brush while holding it under running water. Soap or detergent should never be used while cleaning the cartridge.
