Clad with cedar paneling and framed in arsenic free treated pine with a colorbond roof available in many colours. Very easy to assemble with basic tools in an afternoon, our preassembled panels make these as strong as they are attractive. We can offer this shed in many variations, using different window combinations.
With 16 large windows the Somerton is very suitable as a growhouse, you could turn this into a “garden room”. Adding skylights would be important if you wanted to allow plenty of light for growing. The back wall doesnt include any windows, (although they could be added), this would be the wall to face to the south. The pine and cedar construction is very suitable to a high humidity environment.
Our high quality kiln dried Cedar Weatherboards minimise splitting and are naturally rot and insect resistant – without added chemicals. Cedar has its own natural high insulating value which helps to keep your building warm in winter and cool in summer.
